NOT looking forward to flying tommorow...

So with all this stuff out there about swine flu, I am really not looking forward to traveling across the entire damned country on a plane, right in the middle of all this. On top of that, being 31 years old makes me a nice, prime age for this virus, which seems to kill more people in my age range than younger or older people. Needless to say I am bringing lots of sanitary wipes to clean the seats, seat belts, my hands, and so on. Also taking craploads of Vitamin C, and as stupid as I feel doing this, I'm taking a couple of face masks too.

Why of why did our trip have to come right fucking right now?!?

I do the same thing for every flight I take. Not sure the type of wipes you are using, they may not let them on. I have individually sealed packets and they have never said anything about those.

Ahh the media is scaring everyone again. I live in Upland which is right next to Claremont and they shut down the school because the mom came down with flu like systems and she was in mexico recently.

 

man, i knew i shoulda started a particulate mask factory after SARS. on a serious note though...i don't think the mask will do you any good. now a Respirator mask, when properly fitted, might. as for the wipes...screw it, get some latex exam gloves and dispose of regularly...you won't look any goofier than everyone else that's wearing a kurcheif or mask. might want to take your own silver/plasticwear also if you can.
