Sup yall. Just bought an 03 extra cab with 84k. My grief has been going on for a few weeks now. I’ve read other posts that are similar but don’t sound quite like what I’m experiencing. I’m hoping someone has some insight. Basically my problem is that the truck doesn’t roll forward when I put it in drive or come to a full stop. Not all the time, usually happens when it’s still cold. It began when I first brought it home, I put it into 4low just to make sure it was all working right. It got stuck in 4 and after some messing around, I tapped on the gear in the actuator and heard it slip back in, problem solved, comes in and out of 4 easily. But since then, when I put it in drive it sometimes doesn’t want to roll forward at all, I give it some gas and can fee force from the rear wheels, but resistance in the front, then a slam and starts moving fine- which makes me think it could be a front brake issue somehow. I don’t know much about cars, learning as I go. Let me know if any of you have experienced this or have some insight. I’ll probably take it to a shop when I financially recover, but hoping to figure it out at home. It drives like a dream once I’m on the road. Thanks

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I’ll guess the rr parking brake cable is sticking

Have you done a basic tune up since you bought it? engine oil, spark plugs, wires, etc?

To your issue, you didn't mention if it's MT or AT, but guessing AT. Have you checked the ATF ? It probably needs to be changed out via a few drain and fills. I'm guessing that you have a sticky solenoid.
