    I never get to watch this at work...It's AMAZING how much $GME volume is single shares poking around the bid/ask within $1 or $2 dollars...There are NO stocks that trade like this.....

    On any given day between 40 and 70% of the total volume is traded through the dark pools.

    What you're seeing on your level 2 data is almost 0% retail on the buy side. You're watching HFTs go back and forth. They move all of our transactions off the lit exchange so it's easier to manipulate and price fix.

    Excuse me but that is likely a "market maker" "creating liquidity" or else the price would actually reflect supply/demand which would be devastating to a select few people who apparently should never lose at any "cost."

    That's what we're all wondering. The flurry of new DTC, SRC, NSC, ICC rules are in theory supposed to fix a lot of this shit, but they'll only work as well as they're enforced.
