OME 887s Dakar Leafs, SPC UCAs, Spidertrax wheel spacers, Kenwood touchscreen, diff breather mod, Magnaflow 22in. muffler, AFE Pro dry S air filter, secondary charcoal filter delete. Soon to come Warn M8000 winch on a a Westin winch trey, full retros with demon eyes
I know this has been beaten to death, so Ill make it short and sweet. I have the 2.7 access cab, and am going to get the full OME kit with leaf packs in the rear. Was going to get 885 coils, but now I am planning on the addition of a plate bumper and winch, so should I get the 886s to hold the extra weight better? Thanks everyone.

My guess would be 885 beacuse you have the 2.7 opposed to the 4.0.

    I'd probably go with 887s.

885! this way you if you find you need extra height after you can add a top plate spacer to get the desired final ride height. also, the slightly taller 886 coils with your 2.7 will result in you having very little down travel because the front shock will be slightly more extended at ride height. i ran 884 on my reg cab, it rode like shit because there was no down travel, always clunk clunk because i was topping them out.

Well.. by design the 886 is meant for your winch/bumper setup.

But, you have about the same weight as my truck does. I have 884 coils (no bumper or winch) and got 2.25 of lift out of them with no spacers, just coils. My Dakars gave me 2.75" of lift and I have a 220 lb SnugTop on my bed.

An 884 on a V6 truck like mine is like a 1.75" coil. The 2.7 makes a lot of difference in lift height when coils are all based on V6 trucks. An 886 is a good guess and it might be the right one, but you also have to take into consideration that while you're adding winch and bumper, you're also missing the extra weight of the V6, so adding 150 lbs up front isn't the same when you're missing 150 lbs up front also, for example.

I don't have a clue what the engine weights are, but just illustrating my line of thinking.

So I am looking at either 885s with top plate spacers, or 886s. Leaning towards the 886s but still not sure.

Let's throw this into the mix I have 2015 double cab with 884 coils and bilsteins set at 0. The front is 2 inches higher and No Vibes. My truck handles and Rides great. I'm not touching the rear till I put more miles since my truck is level.

I am going to jump in here. I have a ACC,2.7,5spd. My thoughts for my truck 883s or 884s. I don't need to much of a lift, 1.5 to sit level. I have SumoSprings in the rear, to control the weight. I just don't want to have driveline probs. Any input would be great, thanks.
