Hopefully he slows down for speed bumps after dropping the kids off at the mall.

typical Chevy, more use as a driveway ornament because they are always breaking down, than a real truck(Tacoma)that has a outstanding reliability and resale record to prove it.

I guess I’ll find out. I wanted another Tundra but I couldn’t justify paying more for the same outdated model.

it would break if it hit a speed bump, safer just to let it sit in the driveway and look at the cool plastic grille

Probably a good idea, if I had that truck it would stay in my driveway too.

id rather have an outdated reliable truck than a cool looking hooptie ride that wont make it to 25k miles

not jelly, peanut butter, I had already had a GM S10 2006 it was a total disaster, I hope you got the extended warranty because there will be major break downs and issues that will be occurring for you very shortly so enjoy the cool grille and make sure it spends most of its life parked in the driveway

having a TSB repair is nothing compared to needing a completely new drivetrain with less than 20k miles

I wheel my 2008 really hard & the alignment would get knocked around here and there. Not anymore after my marlin crawler LCA brace kit. Sounds like you have different issues entirely.

    http://www.chevroletproblems.com/models/silverado-1500/generations/3/

This generations ranks 73rd out of 85 Chevrolet generations in reliability. Owners have the most complaints about the transmission (18%), hvac (17%), and the engine (10%). We've listed some of the most recent complaints below, see them all on CarComplaints.com.

    sounds wonderful

My 19 SR5 needs an alignment and it just hit 3000 miles. I attribute that to Long Island roads. I've had issues with my alignment since I moved here even in my 15 OR. My trucks in Fl never had a problem. Also have the braking vibration around 20-25 and random howl on highway. On the other hand my wifes 11 4Runner drives perfect. Just feels solid.

I have to agree, the Chevy has the best balance of style and dick enhancement capabilities face on. I do not feel the same about some of the parts behind the grill all the time, so I have to live with my dick as it is for now.

Yeah, the GM product is so outdated it even comes with springs that help lift the hood and power seats. What ARE they thinking.
