I just thought about this...my midlife crisis vehicle is a minivan!

I guess it helps that I already owned the sports car in my 20s.

I really dont want to read, so give me the skinny.

Is there any talk about swapping to stock length Chromolly shafts? Keeping 1 hub assembly, CVs, driveshaft in the truck ?

Do you really want to put the OEM parts in a rock garden with 120lbs per tire and a ton of gear, especially if you lock the front?

Just smells like disaster. Unless its a dedicated rig.

Catch Ace's used parts. Going to be feeding the community for years to come as this truck changes with the season.

Just think when he goes LT, then supercharger, and then SAC, then diesel swap, then propane, then 40s, then full exo, then buys a Jeep.

@Acerwin saw how easy it was to Blow a rear Diff at AOP. I've heard fronts are so much easier.

There's a few people on here that run 37's on the ifs. I don't see what would be bad as long as you're aren't stupid and go wide ass open in a rock garden. Go slow and easy. I actually see adding a front locker as a good thing because instead of bouncing around you can just engage the locker and ease on over the rock etc.... That's just my 2 cents. I do t plan to go all fucking crazy when I get 37's.

Stock steering rack is pretty strong. A little more wear and tear on 37s but not the end of the world. Just remember don't hit a tree head on at 10 to 15 mph, it liked to destroy spindles and rack n pinion haha.

You do realize that if you get in a good groove in a rock garden very little petal while locked can snap a shaft right?

Those guys like Homer, Anthony and a few others that go super hard in the rocks on 35s are swapping out diffs, tcases and axles for a reason.

Im not giving you shit Ace, you know I watch out for you and play devils advocate. Just seems to me your jumping the gun with these 37s right away. Maybe do a bit more research and planning before going balls deep.

Mods are like pussy, you get that taste and you just lose all logic and want it without considering the consequences.
