I've been there before - I think it has to do with the lack of motivation in going through everything again after you worked so hard the first time. Definitely the right first step in figuring out what the problem is!

He guys thanks for the pat on the back.
You know it seems that way. But that being said it seemed to be running good before. I just decided since I had it broken down to the fuel rails I may as well just pop them out and blast some cleaner through them and replace the orings. It was rather simple. And obviously these injectors(OEM) are cool with the 12v car battery charger hooked up to them for a short period of time(1 minute or so) set on the low trickle setting of 2 amps.

What's really cool about this whole process is the familiarization you get with your truck and it's motor. You feel part of it. It's like snowboarding. You feel as though the board is an extension of you. Same with the truck. It becomes familiar, it's actions are your actions, you feel how it feels. And you want to improve it in it's present state. Not necessarily change it, although some do and that's cool, but rather improve it's current(stock) state. As you do this further tasks don't seem so daunting. I remember the first time I did anything other than an oil change was on a 1976 Chevette. The clutch on the 4sp went south so I decided to fix it myself being that I had very little money. I also had very few tools but that's another story. I'll just say that you can remove that trans with bike wrenches and a pipe. It took a day and a half to get it out. Changed the syncros as well when I had it out. Put those horseshoe linkages in backward so when I reinstalled and went to drive it it wouldn't move. Pulled the trans out and had it broken down in 45 mins.

I've owned this truck since St. Paddy's Day and have replaced the center support bearing and rear shocks, changed the fluid in engine, diffs, TC and trans, replaced VCG, cleaned injectors, TB and MAF. Next is to change timing belt et al. [Can't believe the price of the idler pulleys. Anyone know of an alternative like replacing the bearings in the old idler pulleys?] I'm not listing this as a "look what I did" but rather as an example of the relationship I'm building with my truck. I think there are a few people here who feel me on this. All of you are an extension of this as well and as stated you are greatly appreciated.
