Ooo-No...i picked up my new limited ( yes I'm old, bug shield and all). grandma and i put on almost 200 miles. at the dealer i couldn't find any fit and finish imperfections, yes we can still see! on the road smother then our tundra? ??? no gear hunting? ??? know when to use that automatic cruise, not in town! O-man i parked on the grass with the parking brake on, i expect the back wheels will be locked up! shit man, just like when we bought our trunda and came to my web friends, i was certain we bought a piece of shit. ..that truck has 210,000 trouble free miles. maybe it won't pull our little camper, will find out next week. i got nothing to bitch about!
I do want to thank TW for the education, valuable information. ..i felt i had a better picture of what to look for.
    Seriously
    Thanks guys

    Translation:

    • Picked up a new Tacoma Limited
    • Test drove it for 200 miles.
    • No fit and finish problems that they can find.
    • He’s old but still has good enough eye sight to see what’s in front of him.
    • Feels like it rides better than the Tundra it replaced.
    • Transmission shifts good.
    • Parking brake works good.
    • Knows when and when not to use cruise control.
    • Came to check the forums before buying and found everyone saying 3rd gen was a POS. After previously mentioned test drive, found that most of the complaints on the truck did not apply to the one he purchased.
    • Despite his truck having no issues, appreciates all the information posted. Gave him things to look for on the 200 mile test drive.
    • He’s going to try towing his camper soon and see how the truck handles that.
    • Thanks guys

Basically he’s being sarcastic. He doesn’t have any problems with his Tacoma, and he’s talking about everyone bitching on here about their problems.

It may drive better than his old one (unsure of year) but go hop in a brand new tundra and tell me the ride is anything close lol

I’m with op I love my new tacoma. 2k miles on now still no complaints. If people are so unhappy with their taco then maybe they should stop bitchin and go buy a Colorado. And that’s all I have to say about that.

I guess I'm old as fuck too, because I understood the OP with no problem. And even though my '18 is currently resting at the dealer waiting for a backordered ABS module, I still have no complaints. Shit happens, and Toyota takes care of it.

No, I don't want a Colorado. I love my truck, but it's certainly not without some issues (most of which I've addressed under warranty or have fixed myself).

If people are so unhappy with the bitching, they should maybe move on and not be bothered by it lol.

If you're happy, that's great and I believe you

I'm sure a new trunda will ride nice, ours is a 2007, now i just need to get granny's bloomers around her knees and the truck will be Christian'd.
