Noticed this right where the transmission meets the driveshaft. Is this an issue?

Hi new here recently came into my dads truck (2001 2.4l 2wd MT), when he passed away. When I was changing the transmission fluid and the diff oil when i noticed this right where the transmission meets the driveshaft. Is this something that makes the truck unsafe to drive? How would I go about fixing it. I looked for an exploded parts view but i could not find one that pointed out this specific part. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Just a transmission mount. You can get another at the parts store for about $20 to $30. They hang down like that because they float on the rubber. Shouldn't exactly be bent back like that but it doesn't look like a major problem. Easy peasy.

At second glance it looks like you're only using 2 bolts on the tranny. Should have 4. Also the big bolt is hanging down pretty low. Rubber might be really old. Here is a pic of mine. I have a supra transmission so it looks different and my bracket is extended to fit but you should get the idea. Also my ground is overkill.

Thank you. I'll watch a video on replacing it and order a new mount. I appreciate the help.

Actually how do I go about getting the mount to line up to be able to use all four bolt holes? Do I just jack up the transmission more to try to get it to fit? It kinda doesn't look like there would be enough wiggle room to get the mount forward enough to get all four bolts in.

Looks like that might be either a replaced tranny or wrong tranny mount. Might have to get creative on that.

My truck (96) has a (96) supra tranny. I had to weld an extension.

I had the same issue earlier this year, mostly summarized in this thread which has a video link for the install. I just jacked up the tranny on a 2x4 and finagled it in place.
Rock Auto had the part I was looking for, and it seems to be the same for 3.4 and 2.4.

Here is the after photo, the bolt was a lot straighter.

Also worthy to note, my mount only had 2 bolts holding it in (even with 4 holes).

Thank you my only question now is when you put it back together did you just use the two bolts and notice any issues or did you source more bolts and use all four holes?
For the future if you're looking for the OEM part for the mount itself it's this Capture.png

I just stuck with two bolts. I figure it's worked long enough with it.
    Will update if catastrophic failure.

Just an update replaced the mount it was pretty bad. Super easy job torque specs are 48 ft lbs for bolts to transmission and 14 ft lbs for mount to frame. Would have taken pics of it from underneath but it was cold and I forgot. Attached is pic of the old one.
