    Hi there,
I am debating whether I should take my two little ones out for a drive in the woods this afternoon.

    What are you up to?

Shane, we have never met but I think that you may have been instrumental in helping me convince my wife to add a Tacoma to our family. I hope to meet you one day to tell the story.

Dont listen to Shane, he makes you buy new parts by calling people and telling them youll be there to pick them up..hes a bad influence ...on the flip side your tacoma build will go faster.

Sold the house, move at the end of the month. Garage planning is about to get real.

Not moving far, Colby Village. Plan is for a double garage set up with one side for trucks and the other side for other projects, or more trucks!

    Visitors welcome:)

Mine is 30x30 and really it is not big enough. Wish I had another full bay. Adding the new Mini has not helped but with workbench tractor, 4 wheeler, generator and other assorted stuff the room fills quick. At this point I should have gone maybe ten feet deeper. Two doors to keep costs down but more room in the back. On a side note two shop heaters in the upper rear corners heat the place well. Only run them about an hour a day in the winter. Insulate everything and most of all put in a floor drain. My contractor had gotten in trouble years earlier for doing illegal drains so he would not do it without a permit. With permit mine was going to be about $5000 and I cheaped out and skipped it. Instead I ran the floor out 2 inches.....Wish I had the drain now

I spent hours on it. My architect was able to find both the FJ and the CRV in his house CAD program so my final plans even had their outlines in the garage blueprints...lol... Small things like that make me happy....lol

www.garagejournal.com is another site I can get lost in. Lots of great ideas in there.
