    Yep.

The plan is to drop a GTE into it at some point though and my power goals are set at 400 WHP. I'm sure it'll spin regardless.

What sort of engine is in your Mini? I thought they all had like 260. Hell my old 16 year old Toyota gets 210 at the crank with a n/a 2.0 4 cyl.

I just saw this ad on kijiji today, and thought, "that had to be MaxPower, that posted that ad!"
Hilarious. Like you said, I can't believe that guy has posted all those ads on kijiji for a year now about those rims. (Although i don't think I'm much better. I still haven't found anyone to swap a hood with me yet with my ad, lol)

I am looking for 2012-2015 sport hood. Would rather a black one, cause I don't want the hassle of having it painted. I have had some offers, but they were all from people with 2005-2011, and they won't fit properly.
There is another guy on there looking to trade for another black sport hood offering $500. You might be able to swing a deal with him, if you look his ad up.

In all honesty, I really enjoyed my NA Supra, I dreamed of doing a full GTE/6spd swap, but the hassel of swapping a JDM engine, wiring harness extension, upgraded to USDM turbos, injectors, SAF-C and AVC-R, plus being properly tuned, thats big bucks! The inline 6 idle on a 3" exhaust is still sex on my ears, N/A or TT. I enjoyed the looks more than any amount of power I could have gotten out of it.

Mini's motors have changed quite a few times since the second gen started in 2000. Since 2012 they are running a 1.6 peugeot motor. It is rated for 121 hp in normally aspirated model and 181 with the turbo S model. The upscale John Cooper Works models are rated at just over 230hp I think. Mods are like any car I guess. Exhaust and intake being the popular way to get that extra 10-15hp. Then like anything else you start to spend money. Lots of "tunes" available but as you tune the car you also need the mods to go along. Bigger intercoolers....bigger turbos....injectors....etc etc

The newest motor is a 2.0l BMW motor of some sort. Not a huge hp gain but they say the torque numbers are up. I have the 1.6 (N18) in my Countryman. Cat back Megan exhaust with resonator delete and a K&N filter with the airbox opened up. But mine is huge compared to standard Minis with four full doors and a AWD system so what I think feels quick really isn't in comparison. But I have enough go to keep up with the others and all the extra room for the foolish old wheelchair and luggage when we go to rallies. It really is a lifestyle and socializing.

Ohh I totally thought they were all a turbo 2.0 now for some reason! I really don't know much about the mini's! I'd love to take one for a spin sometime however. Does the 'S' badge on mini's designate them as a turbo?

My car is a Altezza RS200 so it gets the 2.0 inlie 4 na 3S-GE which puts out 210 from the factory, with 11.5/1 compression. With the most useless torque curve as a daily driver i've ever seen. It is fun to open up on the highway ramps though!

I'll run my existing ECU with a piggy back, it'll do everything I want it to do and will run the same. The 2JZ GTE VVTI has stainless steel turbos to begin with so there's no reason for me to upgrade them. If I was going to do anything I'd do a single turbo swap, but at the moment I think I'll be content with what it comes with.

Obviously this is a down the road thing.

Oh I didn't know the VVT-I had stainless steel turbos, I was thinking of the USDM/JDM fins, JDM are ceramic.
