    Here's my CB install;

    I need to move my antenna farther away from my cab I think, I'm getting an SWR of 3.5 on channel 1 and 1.5 on channel 40. With both a 3 foot antenna and a 4 foot antenna. I think my back rack may be interfering.

    Just a metal whip? If so you can cut a bit off of it to tune the swr

    Put it on a spring at least. Thatll also help get more of the antenna above the roofline. You want more than 60% of the antenna above.

    I had a 3 foot, 1.5 SWR on channel one and 3.5 on 40, put a spring in, same results. Got a 4 foot with a bigger spring, 1.5 on channel 1 and 3.5 on 40. No change
