fuck it sucks living in canada and wanting parts. Everyone here is so fucking clueless who sells them. I call up "4WHEELPARTS.COM" and try to ask them about coils and they just regurgitate the same shit i can read on their site. They tell me theres no such thing as 887 OME coils for Tacomas even though I have got them priced from 3 other shops and about 750 people on this site use them. Fuck I cant stand when people are selling something they dont know anything about. Fuck

    Thanks! Good info.
So all I would need is front and rear 5100's with an extra leaf on the rear, and let's say the OME 887's that you're looking at? How much lift would that be? No more than 3 eh? I'm not interested in anything higher than that anyway. Just wanna have it sit nice and level.
As far as the aal, they gotta be pretty easy to source locally eh? I know when I broke a leaf on my old Tacoma, parts for trucks just made me one.

The 887s are for my brother 2016 so its more than ours. I would guess the 884s would be 2-2.25 and the 885s would be around 2.5-2.75. All depends on how much you want and care about alignment issues. I want the 884s myself.
Good thinking on the AAL I never thought of asking them, but they are pretty cheap, Im just ordering one from that 4wheelparts for like $82 bucks for the pair so its not a bad price. Im still deciding on if I want to spend the money on the OME coils and swap them out for the Eibachs so I can put the 5100s at 0 instead of the .85 they are right now to make the ride a bit smoother but the AAL might keep it rough so I might not bother

After doing all my own research and contacting the companies I found the info I needed and placed an order with "4WHEELPARTS" and am picking it up net weekend in freddyrickton. Worked out to be a decent price if anyone is looking for it. Pretty much the cheapest I could find around here, and picked up the 5100s from essexs which gives free shipping to your door.

@maxpower29 How well do the billies finish hold up in the Canadian shitbox of weather? Cost wise I am leaning towards the bilsteins, but I won't be lifting anytime soon due to warranty not running out for another 2-3 years.

Gives me lots of time to find the best *cough* cheapest *cough* place to order all the parts. And that essex sight is looking like gold right now!

They didnt last great but they have lifetime warranty so after 4-5 years I replaced them. Rears are new never installed yet and front have been on for 5000kms. I like them and they are cheap and easy. They dont ruin your warranty either, thats a myth because these are "better than stock". Dealer seen mine from day one and never said a word about them

I noticed on Essex, that there are 2 different types of 5100's for the rear. What's difference between the 2 other than heigth? Does 4 wheel parts have OME coils? And they obviously had the AAL.

the two rears are regular and extended. Everyone says go with the stock length so I always did. Im sure with the bigger leaf packs you should go longer but I only have the stock and an AAL. 4 wheel parts you have to find product numbers from suppliers and look up the parts yourself on their site, and then find out yourself if it fits or not because they have no clue what so ever. For example the OME 887s were just 2887 in their search code but when you pull it up they say it only fits a Toyota Prado but we all know it fits the Tacoma and they wouldnt agree. Fuck I was mad trying to buy things from them

It's really stiff. Aside from extended lines you need bushings, but I imagine they're included!

The bushings that go into the eye of the leaf.

You'll need longer U bolts too, it's a thicker pack

Lol, I think that post was meant for NHL trash talk thread?
So I'm gonna pull the trigger soon on this kit to level my truck out. So I did a little research, and the arb site says the 884's are for Prado only too, but clearly they work with the 5100's on the Tacoma's.
So the best place to get the Bilstein s appear to be from Essex. What about the coils? 4wheel parts (even though they will say they won't fit). And are the bro lean spacers included, or do you gotta find them elsewhere? What aal leaf did you get, I couldn't really find it in thier website. Especially for $82.
