The transmission was making noise in neutral with the clutch out so I'm rebuilding it so I figured since I have it open I might aswell fully build it too!

I've got Marlin Crawler shift forks, 1-2, 3-4 and 5-R.

Marlin Crawler thrust washer and bearing retainer.

It'll be able to hold more power than it'll ever need to now!

And the transmission by it's self will be worth a lot more than the car itself.

I have those thoughts frequently. I love the size/looks of the first gens so much! But me and a buddy have been on the hunt for a 1st gen for him, and the market right now is flooded with rusted buckets of crap, that are apparently worth their weight in gold haha

    They are!

The WMS to WMS is narrower than the 2nd gen tacos, so finding an axle would be easier!

There shouldn't be a whole lot of back breaking work involved, but when I have it apart you're more than welcome to come take a peak and I'm sure I can answer any questions you have!

Got the Blackoma back on the road today. She looks good, feels good. All fixed up. Got them to paint that lower bumper insert black too. They also painted my a new emblems black as well. Now to order the 5100's and OME 884 coils, and AAL to level her out. IMG_20170329_170240.jpg IMG_20170329_170307.jpg IMG_20170329_170252.jpg IMG_20170329_170330.jpg IMG_20170329_170240.jpg
