It was gonna be a full engine swap but it's been waiting to find a engine since last September so we figured pull the engine out and have it rebuilt

Plus I have to get Toyota to redo the leaf pack and the accelerator peddle done

Little update for anyone in NS looking to do the diff breather; ordered these numbers from Toyota dealership; they said it would not fit, but told them to order the parts anyways. Thankfully these numbers did in fact yield the correct parts.

When the boarder people rolled the dice to see how much I owe I lucked out!

I honestly think that's what happens..

I owed 55 dollars on 550 US dollars of tranny parts.. and when I got my clutch, 325 US, I owed 111. It's fucked.

customs It happens all the time. The volume of parcels that go through is overwhelming. They pick and choose.

I have had $200 plus parcels that go through without tax or duties. They skip through if they are labelled auto parts.

Rarely do I get anything without taxes or duties. And I don't know if I've ordered anything but car/truck parts from the states!

    Fort Erie is overwhelmed.

Must be a postal code thing.

    Where do your parcels cross?

I think the courier makes a difference. If it ends up getting delivered by Purolator you are less likely to get hit for customs. Canada Post doesn't bother charging for every package because it's not worth the hassle. All the others charge for every package because it is the law.

I normally ship through USPS/CP because they seem to be the most reasonable

i was saying when you buy used Vehicles from private sellers
I bought a my 07 Tacoma from a guy in Labrador Im the 3rd owner its at my Fathers house in Nova Scotia
it came from Saint John New Brunswick it was a Company Vehicle until 2011 then (still has the Saint John Toyota sticker on the tailgate) Then the Guy in Labrador drove it till the engine shit the bed on him I bought it off the guy in Labrador and had it brought to Nova Scotia (in September 2016) for my Father to Fix or Replace the Engine the truck was never cleaned out so last weekend I went to Nova Scotia to visit the truck I went thru the back seats flipped them up down and checked the seat compartments and had found
jumper cables a 1st aid kit and a pair or ballistic Oakley's just clear lenses tho
anyway after the Vehicle is fixed and ready to go the truck is gonna go Full circle back to New Brunswick
and always go thru your Vehicles if you buy them 2nd or 3rd hand youll find Treasures

like my 2001 I had dropped a toonie down the seat went searching for the 2 dollars came out with 5 dollars American
