ATV I bought had a broken LBJ, the tire went out instead of in haha, ripped the axle at the joint and messed up a couple of seals :annoyed:

I seen it posted on fb a couple times, I also seen it in person while I was driving down Sackville drive. It tends to be parked on any snowpile it can find! haha Would be a neat rig to own I guess? I don't know the ups and downs with it in regards to whats known to be bad for them.

Quick question, the recent PRO suspension fandangle that is happening had me trying to price suspension options.

How much would it cost us peon Canadians to have a 5100 setup? Lets hear what you have bought and how much did it cost you?

< 2" of lift (No UCA required)
    5100's x4
OME Coils (Don't know which type yet)
    HS 3 Leaf

    3" of Lift
    5100's x4
    OME Coils to support 3"
    UCA's
    Dakar Leaf Pack
    Bumpstops and flipped U-Bolts

All season mats, 2nd filter delete, DT header, Jardine cat-back, URD shifter, Bilstein 5100's all around at .85 front with Eibachs + .25 passenger/.5 drivers spacers and 1.5 AAL, 0w20 synthetic, Scanguage II, extra D rings, OEM backup camera+Mirror, bed mat, Extang Solid Fold, Popnlock 5300, Pro Comp 7089's 4.5bs 285/70/17 Revo 2s, De-badged
4 wheel parts I'm new Brunswick is usually cheapest to get stuff. 5100 setup with aal and ome coils all together are under a grand .good option and easy to install. I never did one before and did it fairly easy

Will two inches up front of a Taco clear 285's? Back in 08 I did the FJ with a two inch spacer (aluminum tufftrux) up front and cut down Daystar poly spacers in the back. Gave me the leveled look and enough room for 285s. I was always going to redo it all with OME but the truck worked so good I never got back around to it. Now 300,000kms later I have to say the urge to mod has passed.

Anybody know of a place to get cheaper priced tires then crappy tire or Costco ?

Costco quoted me Over 1200 for a set of KO2s installed

I think they said a tire was 245 or 246

I think that'l be fine. I have a 2.5 inch lift with beat out shock bushings, so I'm probably sitting 1.5 inches over stock.. maybe. I clear my 285s with 4.5bs. I rub from time to time at full lock on the frame.

    Minor flare trimming required though.

A few years back I ordered my Duratracs from Quebec. www.pmctire.com. They were cheaper than anywhere local.
Have to get them installed here though, obviously.

That being said, they were still cheaper at Canadian Tire when they had their sales. (usually 25% off or buy 3 get one free)

As Maxpower said, the cheapest I've found around as well was 4 wheel parts in new Brunswick. But they kind of screwed my order up a couple times (sent wrong springs, and also sent the wrong leafs, and didn't have any idea about the 1/4" spacer I was talking about, but sent the wrong thing for that as well) but they fixed their mistakes, it was just a pain in the ass shipping them back, and waiting for the correct ones. I looked at my receipt last night.

Bilstiens front and back + OME coils + Dakar aal + shipping came to $1100. (shipping was like $140, so If you know someone travelling, that would save you $)

Costco is usually the cheapest around, but It pays to call around. When I got mine last year, the prices varied, anywhere from $1120 to $1250 for 265/75/16's

My buddy has a shop in herring cove give him a call. Shawn @ Hfx Tire and oil 902 580-1771
And if you do get tires somewhere and have to get them put on, you can't beat his prices for installation, and customer service.
Performance edge in tantallon used to have pretty good prices as well, but they don't really do installs.

$140 in shipping sounds decent, that stuff is heavy and big, plus you are not wasting a day driving up and back + gas.

This is most likely what I'll be doing... someday, when kids stop costing me so much $$....:spending:

Yeah, I didn't think $140 was too bad for shipping either. It was worse for them though, cause they had to ship 3/4 of my order twice! Lol

I have the breathers, but havent done it, but I was going to get fuel line from PA when do. AFAIK its cheapest there. I was going to put my breather in the locking side cubby in the bed, I don't like the idea of it being by the gas cap.
