I put some redline into my old 98 civic back in the day, used to have a nasty habit of popping out of 2nd if you did not rev-match it just so, the redline made a noticeable difference IIRC.
I think I got it at canadian tire, the old one that was on Tacoma Dr in Dartmouth.
I bet one of the tuner shops in HFX would have it, maybe?

    **Edit**
according to redline's website, the closest CDN place to get it is in Quebec.

Ive wanted to use redline for a long time but i thought you could only get it in the states. Guess it might be time to take a trip into the city.

Curious if anyone would be interested in buying my home made bed platform? I am in the process of building another platform with drawers, and will need to sell this one. Would like to get $200 to try and cover materials costs.

The top pieces are made from 5/8" Plywood and the vertical legs are 1"x10" Pine board. The side pieces were biscuit jointed, glued, and also have metal brackets; this is an overkill connection.
Multiple set-ups for whatever you needs, the steel angle pieces are great for bungee cord'ing things down during transport. Awesome lazy boy recliner feature for single or dual sleepers haha

I need to plan some welding and cutting, the trailer might need a new coupler for safety. And of course I want the lunette on there anyway.

@Hawco636 that looks awesome! I want that level of detail work in the trailer when I start on the 1.0 build.

What he said! I am more than willing to modify it and help install it. Wouldn't want you to leave without the fitment nice!
The side pieces would be easy to trim down, and the center folding portion can be disassembled/reassembled.

Can you measure your bed, from the in between section of the back wall nubs (the stuck out portions in the following pic) to the lip of the bed at the back? That way I can see if the center portion will be a clean shortening, and maybe just remove the center section of the folding pieces

I swear it makes sense in my head hahah

Using google maps and Gaia gps

    IMG_0017.jpg
Went from the blue dot down to Geary to Fredericton junction down the 785 road
    IMG_0018.jpg
From the 785 to Saint George to the 770 up to piskahegan
    IMG_0019.jpg
From piskahegan you can kind of see the logging roads
On the Gaia gps it looks like this
    IMG_0020.jpg
That what we ended up doing from the start point on piskahegan Rd to the blue dot where it breaks off to a Y since it was getting dark we took the left when we planed on taking the right
    IMG_0021.jpg
From the right to Tracey is what we wanted to do
    IMG_0022.jpg
This was the fuckery we got into by mistake this what I thought I was leading
    IMG_0023.jpg
    This is what actually happened

Appreciate the kind words! I have been off work for quite some time now, if you wanted to bounce ideas off me or discuss how to make something just pm me. I'm not an engineer or anything but have a strong understanding of how things interact/lever/can be made.

The new draw system I'm making now is going to be even more detailed than my current setup. However, with that said, the one I am trying to sell was my first creation on extra bed storage and it was made with simplicity in mind, yet can be used in many different ways. I had it set-up with the platform resting on the top rails so with the tailgate shut you had out of sight storage below. That and the side sections are a good spot to stuff shit haha

I was thinking of doing this as well when I can get a cap for my truck but something really simple that I could just set up for a camping weekend or what not and tear down when not in use
So my bed would still be a bed and I wouldn't have the added weight of the platform full time

Ill measure it tomorrow for ya. I would just drive it home as is but i cant drive with my tailgate down with my swingout. How is it attached to the bed? Or does it just kinda sit in place?

There are 4 little corner brackets that attach with a small screw from the platform to the bed. So there will be 4 permanent tiny holes in the bed, I will take a picture to show you what i mean

No need to re-measure, I can add the nub length to it. I will go see if the center portion will be a reasonably easy modification.

Edit: After looking over the pieces, it should be no issue to shorten it. Couple cuts and moving of the two front side rails should do it:
Cutting it this way (on the flap portion, closest to the tailgate) it will retain all of the configurations and uses. The aluminium cap strip is removed with 4-5 screws, and would need the new leading edge routered so it will slip over the edge.

Relocating the rail closest to the tailgate will be loosening a couple bolts, and re-drilling 4 holes.

And in regards to the weather resistance, I painted it with a exterior paint. Being under my cap it wasn't exposed to constant weather, but when water got on it from opening the topper door, it didn't soak up the water, just sat on top till it evaporated. That being said, it will repel some water, but any significant rainfall could potentially warp it.

A solution for this could be to do another couple coats of paint, but the best would be bed liner of some kind

This is the piece I want to change on my trailer:

    IMG_20180329_141030470.jpg

I want to fab a replacement that bolts in to the same points, with a pintle ring coupler. I'll integrate the jack also, to free up space for storage on the tongue.
