I've only done the pedals, interior bits and dropped the exhaust. I'm draining the auto tranny right now, then maybe a coffee..

I have to wait for my buddy dean to get here before I get too far, he'll need to help me take the tranny off the stand and such. If the stand wasn't shoulder height I'd probably be able to manage it on my own. Them trannies aint light.

Does anyone know if the throttle kill when braking can be defeated? Kinda makes left foot braking kinda impossible.

I've never heard of anyone doing it.

Why do you want to brake while you're on the gas? I know people do it to build boost but you're NA right? Just curious.

do you have your traction control engaged while doing this? ( not sure the year of your truck, its not in your sig )
I know on mine it reduces throttle when traction kicks in, first press of the button stops the throttle kill, and if you are at a dead stop with the traction fully engaged ( like the default setting ) and you press AND hold the traction button then wait for JUST the car with the squigglies underneith to show up, then ALL traction crontrol / computer Nanny stuff is disabled . Use that one quite a bit in the parking lot at work after a snow storm

Its hard to see with the black, but those ridges on the side of the filter wrench are actually drain holes, 4cyl guys feel my pain ( @TacoMitch93 ) during an oil change, oil running down your arm into your arm pit! well no more! with this little beauty, it gets funneled down into where the 1/2" socket is. the socket while inserted blocks the final drain hole until you are ready, simply un plug and let it drain!

also when the filter is removed, this turns into a funnel that fits over 4l jugs!

I can't take credit for it, but I did ask the original designer to make a size that fits the OEM 4cyl filter size!

I put a 6puck sprung hub in it. With a "light weight" flywheel. Its 14 lbs rather than 17. However these have pull clutches (same style the iS300 had after the R154 swap) so a lot of the mass from the clutch comes from the pressure plate. Its MASSIVE.

Tranny is full. Neutral safety switch is wired up. Clutch is bled. Just have to adjust the master cylinder. It's pretty well ready to go. Gonna head to the junk yard in the morning for a little pin I overlooked when gathering parts.

Still need to figure out which wires on the auto harness are for the reverse lights, but I'm getting kicked out of the garage in the morning. So that'll have to wait
