    That frame is nasty.

Battery shopping today. I have got a Toyota brand 27F now and it seems to be getting a bit hinky. Got it home last night (-16 all day) and figured I would snap the charger on it. Showed 90% charge right off the bat but 4 hrs later it showed low. (less than 60%).....7 years old. AGM at Costco, Carquest and NAPA all around $200. Canadian Tire's Nautilus gets a bad rep so steering clear.

    Should have mentioned - 4wd preferred ;)

Costco batteries are supposed to be pretty good.

Not agm but I stuck a Wal-Mart battery in my Matrix and it never faltered.

Lol, seen that 2nd one - my insurance company won't touch anything with a plow on it.

Plows are easy to remove and sell this time of year. Could make some money back on the purchase.

True if you look at it I would not only look for frame rot but any signs of stress on the frame from the plow

Although I do see a lot of people with plows on a Tacoma but I wouldn’t do it

I have the Canadian tire AGM Eliminator battery it's got 775CCA, works great so far! This is my second one, the first lost a battle with my power steering pump.

The Eliminator AGM batteries have a 5 year warranty, not sure about the others.

Man i love this truck so much.

Besides it killing ball-joints once a month due to the lift....

So I strangled every penny out of my wallet and picked up these from JBA offroad

Should be here sometime next week, It'll be nice to not have a press-in upper ball-joint anymore, and I should get more down-travel. I'll hopefully be getting rid of the spacers this summer in favor of some true coil-overs.

It’s not a real bad leak it’s just mostly a drip

Seriously though, I have not heard of it and mine does not leak. How does the seal look at the top of your windshield?

I feel dirty that the only modification that I have made to this truck in the year that I have owned it is the short antenna... that I just installed today. Also ordered the ECGS bushing as mine is getting really bad. I will probably make myself a bearing puller, and installation tool on the lathe.

Also debating whether 17" wheels are worth it. Because bigger 4Runner brakes seem like a sweet idea to me, and there seems to be more tires available in 255/80/17 than 255/85/16.
