Come to Cape Breton - with the exception of the Cabot Trail (National Park) you can get away with just about anything. Private spots are everywhere. (Summer Trip - not now, cool and rainy)

He said Performance Edge on Sackville Dr had them but you could also try C&B Industrial in Burnside - they have them for compressed air but same concept

I might have heard that wrong - seems like using something designed to hold compressed air in might be overkill lol
Edit, actually come to think of it that's all a turbo is so yeah, giv'er

So i finally got around to changing the transmission fluid. Ordered redline mt90 because everyone and their dog on here loves it. Gotta say what a difference in shifting it made, so much smoother. So for all you manual guys id recommend it. I ordered it through Amazon 30 bucks a bottle.

So, I need a new motor mount. Ordered two, might as well do both sides I figure. What am I in for? will I need an engine hoist?

Engine hoist would be the safest way to go about it. You can also use a floor jack on the oil pan and do each side one at a time, but it is a little sketchier.

    I'm down for sketch!

lets do the block'o wood method!!

can't be worse then dropping a tranny for a clutch just using floor jacks right?
if you want I bet I could borrow the in-law's motorcycle jack.

Motorcycle jack would be near perfect for the task. Little more liner in the motion of up and down. Use a few 2x4s to support the engine once it is jacked up if you want another layer of safety.

I have a ghetto engine hoist that sits on the fenders. I've used it maaany times for pulling trannies out of fwd cars.

It's honestly probably safer to use a floor jack though.

As I look around, I'm feeling pretty good about the floor jack method. I wish I could estimate how long it will take to get them unbolted.

That's plan A, but I am not at all sure I can reach that far in. It'll happen one way or another!
