    My dude, where to begin....
So after me trading on my Taco for a Cruze due to life changes (separation), I was pretty upset. Now, given I had issues getting in and out of it because of my hip, I am on the very tip of the tail end of my hip replacement recovery and about to go back to work. SO my new significant other says for me to start looking for another truck, so, here I am, patiently waiting for a perfect 6spd to come along

Last I had heard you were getting rid of your truck, then I never really heard anything! Hopefully your hip replacement went well and your recovery went well! And that's awesome, I'll keep an eye out! What exactly are you looking for?

PS. Aren't you a little young for a hip replacement? :D

Hahahaha, if I had a dime for every time I heard that!!! Yeah I am, however my age worked in my favor this time around, my recovery went awesome!
What's funny, the guy who has my truck now, we're friends, we work together, it was kind of prearranged, so I see it every day at work. Funny story, a new guy asked me if I had seen (said friend's) truck, I said "No, what truck?" Everybody else knew, we had a good laugh about it.
Anywho, I am looking for an older 6spd, preferably silver or white () as they hide scratches much better. My girlfriend has already assured me it shall be getting a lift kit, hopefully some armour eventually. I won't fuck around this time, goin straight to 35"s. I'll patiently wait for just the right one to come online somewhere, NS, NB, PEI ,MAYBE the eastern part of Que, but theres no major hurry at this point, HUGE home reno going on right now too, so I have lots on the go.

    *Ninja Edit*
I was conversing with Kirk too about Taco goodness, he best be up for wheeling when I get one

Mocked them up on the truck, looks gooooood!

and I tacked them all in place.
I just need to do one last fitment using the actual nuts and bolts to triple check everything then start :welder:

    hey guys,

Just wondering what modifcations have done to your insurance premiums. Have steel bumpers or partial steel bumpers significantly increased your premiums? Any experience with TD?

I have Allstate. I intend to send a list of mods I want to have covered (not actually sure I want to pay extra to cover any). I have checked that they are cool with covering PLPD given the coil and leaf spring, UCA, bumper upgrades and the winch. They said it's all cool. Things get touchy when you do anything considered by the industry as performance enhancing. The industry definition may not be the same as ours!

I know a guy who had his truck written off and never got a cent, his insurance told him he was modded for performance and because he hadn't disclosed in advance they said he had voided his coverage

My only question on them would be how easy are the ball joints to source or replace. That's what draws me towards the JBA arms. Easily sourced Chevy HD bolt in ball joints.

If they are in fact rebranded SPCs, which they look identical to my old SPCs, double check and ask if they have the greaseable ball joints, my first set only lasted a year and a half in NS weather, but again, they were the original design (non greaseable), my warranty replacements (greaseable) are still going strong, that was... 5 years ago now? That post doesn't say that they're the greaseable ball joints

Replacing the ball joints on the SPC UCAs is very easy. Like oil change easy.

It really is, and if they're in fact the direct molds, SPC would still carry the ball joints, which is a fraction of the cost of those UCAs (about $650)

    ohhh baby!
    I like what I hear :)
when it comes time to pull the trigger, I ask the question about being greasable.

Comon weather! I need you to not suck over the weekend so I can finish my sliders and move on to the next project!
