Been working on an idea, wanting to mount trailer brake controller, scanguage, a bank of switches, maybe a CB radio, all in easy reach over the dash. I don't want to drill a bunch of holes everywhere. Came up with this:

    20210328_183245.jpg

This is the mounting point, with some cable management. Hoping to get it done this week.

There is a bit of a dent near in the center at the top, but it will come right back to shape once the top piece is welded in :D

Guess who gets to learn how to do CV axles!! Went for a run today, and I cooked one. BUT! On a good note, I did manage to get stuck! Was shown some AMAZING trails that are close by. I'm hoping later this week I can start cutting, so excited! Then to work on the eLocker actuator

The neighbours will know it when you are putting the new CV into the diff! The most frustrating part, followed by popping the old CV out of the front diff...

I have faith, God will lend a hand, he has to, for all the blessings I'm going to place on it, he's going to love me, and if he doesn't, well, he should! I have help coming over as well, I wouldn't tackle this one alone

Really it is not that hard. The first go is definitely a learning experience, but this it definitely within your comfort zone. If you get stuck at all, feel free to give a shout. I'll try to remember all the things @TacoMitch93 told me when I called him!

Are you talking trails down here in the valley? If so, please share! I think I've checked out most of them but I am sure there are more for me to find! :)

The axle nut is a 35mm. Just buy a new cotter pin. 2 prybars makes fairly short work of the inner CV shaft. And might as well get new axle seals inner and outer and get them replaced while you're in there as you're likely do destroy one of the 2. I wish you luck, not the easiest things, but definitely doable for a beginner.

We hit the trail on the West side of the Woodville hiking trail, then hit one on the East side, went over the mountian and hit another that ended on..... I don't know where. It was a steep, dirt road that met the 221 somewhere lol
