Look into a set of 5100's. They're $115/per and free shipping from this link http://www.bilsteincanada.com/product_info.php?cPath=306_3992_4035_12882&products_id=2450

Should get you through until you know what direction you want to go.

And the 5100s will work with stock and with a mild future lift.

    Exactly!

I had them all around on my last Tacoma and was generally pretty pleased for the cost.

Agreed. I run them now. They are better than stock replacements, cheap (somewhat), and common enough to get a replacement in a hurry.

That is awesome. I have spent a total of about 3 years in fort mac & calgary and never once saw the northern lights.

    Yup. Cheap, plentiful, and effective.

This is my 4th winter out here and thats the first time I've managed to really see them. I've worked pretty much at the NWT boarder plenty and never seen them. Then I stumble across these 15km North of Cochrane haha.

    Thanks!

I've been to the look off more times at 3 in the morning than any other time of the day. It was the place to go in high school! Midnight tours!

I was never able to catch the northern lights when I was out west. I guess I'll just have to plan a northern Canada offroad trip and see them.

    They were pretty amazing.

Also, if you notice the blue/white washout around my feet, I forgot to turn off my flashlight haha. First time I tried that photo I ate shit running across the road in the dark trying to beat the camera timer. Second time I forgot to turn off the light. I refused to do it a third time because I also wanted to kick back and actually watch the lights and enjoy them haha.

Thank you for the offer Kirk.

I just ordered front and rear 5100s.

Thank you all for your advice. While I am at it, does anyone have input on clutch options for the v6? My release bearing sounds like a flock of starlings, when I have the time and coin set aside I think I will put on the URD release bearing kit, might as well do the whole clutch while I am at it. I really do hope I can plan that job and not have that forced on me too!

The caps keep dust and stuff from getting into the uniballs don't they? I would! Keep them from wearing out!

I miss seeing these. When I was working in Firebag we watched them every night, they weren't exactly 'bright', but you could certantly see the different colours in them.
