I've got an aFe "cat back" for a v6 in it now. but I had to reuse the center pipe so its more like a muffler back.

Hope the ps works out well for you! I just put in an order for amsoil. 270 bucks later my car that's now sitting on the dock will have all fresh fluids. :)

I also changed my oil in the truck today before work. Beautiful day to be wrenching.

Took a few mins because there was air in the system when it ran too low while pumping it, seems fine now though. Left it out there for a bit to check the cold level

Any of you guys ever replace a CV axle on a taco. I was wondering the approximate cost / difficulty ?

I havent replaced the axle but I have replaced the boots, which is more work. It is a pretty straightforward replacement, lots of how-tos and youtube videos floating around. Axles are anywhere from $150+ depending on where, OEM from Toyota would be a lot more.

Why are you in need of replacement?

Yea in the front end the past few days so last night down at a buddies garage he told me the boot is probably ripped somewhere and I'll need a new cv assembly. Starting to think I got a monday morning or friday afternoon truck.

If it hasn't been torn very long you can replace the boot and re-grease. Basically if it still has grease inside and isn't full of water/dirt then it's a $30 rebooting.
If you have an OEM axle (which you probably do) re-booting would be the best option as OEM axles are much better than aftermarket and boots are cheap (just a little more labour for you)
