    I don't believe so Brian. If you follow my posted directions on going in the back way, you should have no problems. If you are worried about getting lost going in, give us a time frame on when you may make it to the TH and someone could come out to meet you so you can follow them in. Or you could hook up with someone coming in on Saturday and just follow them in.


    Get off I-10 on the Grant rd exit and go left (east) down Grant road for approx 8 - 10 miles until you hit Tanque Verde road where you will again turn left (east) onto Tanque Verde road. You will follow Tanque Verde road another 8 - 10 miles until it runs right into Reddington road where it will then turn into a dirt road and start winding up the mountain. Follow Reddington road approx 11 miles to the turn off to the TH for trail #4417

    Just in time to drop some gear and make a quick run up to Chiva Falls before it gets dark. We'll more than likely be coming back in the dark, but I'm not afraid with close to 25,000 lumens lighting the trail for me :D

    Cool. I'm mostly just looking to get out and do some camping/hiking. Don't want to take any chances beating up my mall crawler. Would be happy to drink beer, cook and provide camp security while everyone's wheeling. Probably head out Friday afternoon and return early Sunday morning.

    LMAO. We obviously haven't met. By "camp security" I meant keeping an eye on everyone's gear while they're away. As for for shenanigans, raising hell and what not, I'm all for it. That's half the reason I want to get out of the house. Your not the only crazy jarhead here.
