Yeah you are right Jason. Kbay is nice and I like Oki and MSG has some bomb locations. But most major bases are shit.

 

If you are interested in seeing s*** blown up and various guns tested, the Yuma Proving Grounds are great. My uncle works there. He use to go out onto the testing range. I go to the Yuma Air Show every year at the Marine base. Other than those two, Yuma is a pass through for people going to the dunes and San Diego.

Edit: Found out GM moved their proving ground to Yuma from Mesa. It shares the Military proving ground. You have to pass Military security to get into GM. They said they wanted to be somewhere super secrete where the public couldn't go.

 

There are tons of places to off-road close by, but other than that there's not much. The Pint House is good if you like craft beers, they have over 50 taps not many places in PHX even have that good of a selection.

 

I was on the range right next to the test track flying.... Lots of fun
