    Hey, Folks.

Please post here if you are meeting up, where you'd like to meet up (location and time), and what's the general route.

I'm all for earlier the meetup the better. O-dark-30? :D

    Have a good one.

Edit for the list, meetup, and general route:

    1. @RChristopherSven
    2. @ysbohle (tenative)
    3. @Bertw192
    4. @tonered
    5. @Flash_Adalwolf
    6. @CBenfell
    7. @PacNW_Taco (out for work)

If anyone else wants to come, post up or get to the meetup before we leave!

    Meetup for breakfast at 9.00a:

    Country Pride
    46600 SE North Bend Way
    North Bend, WA 98045
    https://goo.gl/maps/QSQNZu1fCqD2

Or, meetup at Country Pride at 10.00a if not having breakfast.

    General route:

From there lets head to Cabin Creek Road exit 71. NF-41 has been closed for years due to a major washout but off NF-40 there's a gated 4x4 trail that follows the other side of the ridge. The roads of not closed as you can get around the gate I believe it's a gatekeeper, because the other side is always open.

From there we could cross over to Stampede pass and then to Naches pass and Highway 410 that would be further over to the east then green water so it probably wouldn't overlap much of the 17th trip. Once over there there's a ton of interesting trails to explore.

The return trip could be either East or West from there.

I definitely want to go on the 3rd. Maybe we can meet at the North Bend McDonald's parking lot at 10:00am. I got a few the route ideas. Stampede pass or Cabin Creek through Naches pass to NF-19 next to Highway 410. Lots of cool Jeep trails in that area. I'm open to other ideas too.

    Not much, yet.
Hoping to come but can't confirm just yet. But 10am sounds like a decent time to meet up.

I'm in, as long as the route is DD friendly. Not looking to break anything or pinstripe my new truck.

My vehicle's my daily driver so I don't want to break it either. I only got 32 inch tires and a 3-inch lift and no lockers so any of the trails I suggest shouldn't be too hard .I try to avoid pinstripes but occasionally rubbing some of the underbrush is unavoidable in the mountains. How familiar are the rest of you guys with the area between Stampede pass and Highway 410? I can suggest some fun routes but I don't want to step on anybody's toes if you already have ideas of what you want to do. I want to do a few challenging trails but nothing's thats going to break the vehicle or risk sideswiping in a tree.

    DD here also.

No toes to step on. I just started the thread to get the planning going and am jonesing to get out for the day.

I have a couple stripes from the WA Gambler in August. I'll get to them in the spring, so I'm okay with some unavoidable stuff.

It looks like the trip on the 17th is a Stampede to Greenwater / 410 run, but there is a lot of stuff off of the direct route that I have no idea about. I just know there is a lot there.

Also, anyone got AoB? If not, I will get my tank topped off just in case. We were in there in early September before any rain. Airing down wasn't necessary, but made it more comfortable.

I’ll tag along for something stock friendly. I would just like to nail down a time and location sooner than later. Unfortunately I have nothing to suggest because this is my *ahem* first time.

I’ll bring the $35 for the winch plate. What’s the measurement between the holes?

Easy is relative. Most the trails are either easy or moderate. I don't plan on doing anything crazy it's my daily driver .Between Stampede pass, Highway 410 and Manastash Ridge to the east there's a lot of area to explore. I've been up there off-roading for the last 12 years I still haven't seen all of it. It's all going to be closed in about a month because of the snow until next year. There's other areas open year-round that can be done at other times like tahuya or the Moses Lake Sand Dunes.
How about this for an itinerary, let's meet at the
Country Pride for for breakfast at 9am.
46600 SE North Bend Way, North Bend, WA 98045

Those not eating need to be there by 10. There's a truck stop gas station right there for fueling up before heading into the mountains. From there lets head to Cabin Creek Road exit 71. NF- 41 has been closed for years due to a major washout but off NF-40 there's a gated 4x4 trail that follows the other side of the ridge. The roads of not closed as you can get around the gate I believe it's a gatekeeper , because the other side is always open. From there we could cross over to Stampede pass and then to Naches pass and Highway 410 that would be further over to the east then green water so it probably wouldn't overlap much of the 17th trip. Once over there there's a ton of interesting trails to explore. The return trip could be either East or West from there.

Awesome. If we meet there first It'll give us a chance to finalized route plans before going out of reception range. Lets wait for the other guys to chime in though.

A map of the route might help me understand, I’m unfamiliar with the area. I only go through I-90 to get to Ellensburg, so some of this sounds familiar but not all of it.

Also, is a discover pass good enough or do I need a National Forest pass? Or none

I do not know for certain. I believe that as long as you aren't parking at trailheads, you are good to go? I could be wrong.
