    You said "NEED to remove the coils." Instructing him to undo all of his work. Then hitch a ride, get different spring compressors. Then do the job all over again.

    I'd rather have thick spring compressors, compared to scrawny thin ones. Thicker metal usually means stronger. The load a spring compressor has to hold is enormous.
