I must admit it does look weird but if you slow down and trust the camera it was dead on, just make sure of the distance on both sides of the truck are clear. it won't show you that.

First time I left the tailgate down and started to back up, I was like, "hey, why is my axle in my mirror...doh!"

I am so jealous of you guys and your backup cams. I really want one! I'm trying to save up for a Nav unit and get a camera with it. So many other things to get though!

Mine didn't come with one so i installed one myself. I have an in-dash dvd player that turns the camera on automatically when I reverse. The camera has a sensor that automatically turns on some infared lights for night vision.

Can you see the camera? It's in the middle of the license plate.

Has anyone thought about or tried putting some Rain-X on the camera lens to help when moisture is present? Just a thought I had, but didn't put a lot of trust in.

This time of year the camera gets covered in snow, sand and salt. Can get pretty annoying when I use the camera so much.

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn on the camera without being in reverse. I think it would be convenient at times to turn it on while going forward.
