sorry to hear that man!!thats really a bad time too, but when the big man upstairs calls ya home, you gotta go. as long as your wife knows he is in a better place, she will continue to mourn in a good way. i can tell ya this.....cause no one ever gets over losing someone. i know i dont.

this past christmas......my wifes 6 year old cousin died on christmas eve. she was sick for the week and a half before she died,and doctors thought it was the flu. it turned out to be mrsa, which is a staph infection that really cant be fixed with anti-biotics or anything. it was a really sad time!! just let your wife know we will be thinking of her when times get hard for her bro!!!

 

i'm gunna be MIA for about an hour but if you guys are still on when i get back i'll be on here

 

i get three weeks a year, basicaly whenever we wanna take our days, as long as we write in for them within two weeks!!

when you lose someone, no matter young or old, it hurts like hell man!!

i can tell ya this, when my grandma died june before this past, man, i cried like a damned baby!! i still miss the hell outte her!!! losing someone is hard, but you move on, and it gets betterwhen you realize that they are in a better place!!!

 

ah, its alright man. i dont mind getting into these conversations once in a while!! good for the soul and mind!!

I'm a union member, so it's all based on seniority. By the time vacation pics come down to the younger guys there aren't enough weeks left to cover what is owed to the employees.

Yeah, if I don't get to take it. Sometimes guys will sell back a vacation that they scheduled in which case I can take it (if I find out about it in time)
