True... The only problem is, these wheels are only a few months old... Truth be told, I'm not that worried about spacers now after see what @Blackdawg with Frank. It'll be fine.

so what ended up working with your set up? Did you have to go with the spacers or bigger wheels or what?

On my 96 4X4 the prior owner put on thick aluminum wheels to solve the problem BUT he left the stock lugs in the hubs. The wheel nut had maybe, 6 complete threads before it hit the rim. I installed longer Lexus? lugs, I think 75mm longer and bought lug nuts that were open on the end so I can see just how far down the nut goes. Not knowing your setup exactly I would watch out for not enough stud sticking out if going with spacers.

I know this thread is a little dated now, but I was wondering something. This thread is linked as a source in an Adventure Taco post about wheel fitment for the Tundra brake upgrade. They posted a list of wheels that fit. The AR Baja 16" wheels are said to fit but need a spacer, listing this thread as the source of this info.

The OP said that the passenger side wheel fit (albeit tight), but the driver side wheel didn't fit and was thinking he needed spacers. He then found out that the caliper was defective and was questioning the tolerances.

Did the driver side wheel fit without spacers with the replacement caliper? Or were spacers still necessary after installing the replacement for the defective caliper?

I have the same wheels and want to do the upgrade, but don't want to do spacers.
