From what I understand, Subaru actually builds them all and they are all similar. From there it's different trim interior and exterior... There's probably a difference in the quality of the parts that they are assembling then with based on the build

In the current (July) issue of my Hemmings book there are two for sale-one with 37,200 miles for $59,900 and one with 29,622 miles for $69,500. Yes you did make bank on yours you lucky guy:) those are very nice machines. Their value will only go up as they are super rare and quite the iconic Acura.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Older ones are great buuuut -- the new NSX's are super sweet! I saw one at the St. Louis auto show this last spring! I had to pick my jaw up off of the floor.

Have wanted an NSX since the day thsy came out. Remember the Zanardi edition which was great given the name of a great driver.

Still dream about getting a spa yellow pearl gen 1, maybe I'd settle for a red gen 2 .

Yea, real bummer what happened to him. But his life after the accident has remained an inspiration. He’s truly remarkable.

I had a supercharged AP1 and that thing was always trying to kill me. I do love me a good Honda. my friend has an NSX and that thing is sweet.

Sorry to hijack the thread but anyone here also a fan of Honda Fit’s???

I want a 6speed Fit sport so bad. I have a trip to the other side of the country and used Turo to rent one to drive around with the gf in hopes she will want to buy one for me to drive in :)

Completely agree about what an inspiration Zanardi has been after the accident.

Not really a fan of the Fit, but I am a Honda fan. Especially the way they used to and seem to be coming back to making cars. To me Honda has always made their cars a little more fun to drive than other manufacturers.

I still have an 86 Prelude because I love the way it drives so much.

The funny thing is I feel like the Fit is most like old like 90’s Honda’s. They’re light and direct, inexpensive, the brakes feel amazing, and the shifter is really slick. With the 6speed I use 1-5 gears in a city with a speed limit of 45, it’s really fun to row through the gears. I think the shape of the body is something people have to get used to but I think it’s so practical.

That’s a big shame with Alex Zanardi’s accident but he’s done so much after.

I was 10 when they came out. I inquired about buying one and Acura sent me this nice box and all this NSX swag. If they only knew. Still the prettiest car on the road IMO. Second would be a Ferrari 308.

All the 90’s JDM halo cars are going up, except maybe the 3000GT, I’ve found. Your purchase time was absolutely perfect. Enjoy your increase in investment!

Could be just me, but I would drop 20k+ on a garage queen S before the BRZ. The fact that you can find a decent one in the teens... I traded my pristine 2003 in with 32,000 on the odo for 16,900, they stickered it for 18K. If you have not driven one, you should. Even to rule it out. Better yet, go to an autocross and ask to do a ride along with someone running one. Most drivers would be happy to take you.

Or a C5 Z06, or 370Z ... so many options out there that are good chassis with good engine. I would even take a Miata over the BRZ. That engine in the BRZ is so anemic and boring.

Doug Demuro just did a 3000GT video, so those will probably start going up now too lol.
