You could probably get through with out a bumper.

No armor is needed if you stick to the greens, have good offroad skills, or have a spotter who knows his shit.

Front bumper is not needed....rear might get a little dented up from dragging over stuff. It all depends on what you want to drive your truck on. If you stay green you should be fine.

That said I dented my truck up on a green last time I was there :D

not a front bumper, rear would be nice though.

Im hoping i can make it to this event, sounds like there will be a pretty good turn out already. I'll see if i can talk some more people from the southeast into tagging along.

Our trucks are surprisingly comfortable on long road trips. I have taken mine all the way to Englishtown, NJ for drag racing.

That sounds good. Maybe we could have John go at the same time and make a small caravan out of it. What hotel did you book at? Do you have any idea what kind of amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) they have. Keeping my options open.

I booked at the comfort inn in Pine Grove PA. They have an indoor pool. Here is the website. If you click the link on Rausch Creeks Website, you get the $60 a night rate.

I actually have that week off for my birthday.:D I may try to get there. I can't afford any breakage though, so I may puss out on some of the harder stuff.

So, if I could manage one of the three, would you go rear bumper first, then sliders, then skids? I don't even know if I can afford any of it and still make the trip. The trip itself may tap me.

Something to look forward to anyway!:)

Hey Rob, thanks for the link!

I would go sliders first. They drag over far more stuff than would hit your quarterpannels. Plus if hypothetically you did get a ding pn the bottom of the quarterpannel you can always chop that off and get a hiclearence rear bumper:D

I would go sliders, skids, rear bumper. I think most of us will be taking it easy down there. Most of the guys daily drive their trucks and will need to make it all the way back to MA at the end of the weekend.
