Thanks. And I'm not trying to bust anyone's balls here, just don't want to see someone get kicked out of Rausch. And definitely don't want someone making TW look bad in Rausch's eyes.

Just stopping in to say I had a great time at Rausch. It was my first time there and everyone seemed to be pretty cool. I dont remember anyones names but they people that I was with most of the day were good people. Cant wait until another meet up there.

    That is all.

My fiance and I also had a great time at the meet. I only remember a few names since I'm terrible with that, but everyone I met was super friendly and it was neat to see what everyone had done with their rigs.

Some random musings from my fiance during the meet:

"I don't know any of these people but they're all so nice!"

"OK, I don't like the bumpiness. Just follow what Scott does; that's what they told you to do!"

"You're right. Sanders is like a mini Aaron Paul. I like him."

"Anthony is a little crazy, and his truck too"

"Josh is cute! Is his girlfriend cute? I can see him having a cute girlfriend."

    :notsure:

She had a couple for you:

"We always have the best time with guys named Jay. What's up with that?"

    and

"Where the hell is Jason going? How drunk is he?"

That's some good stuff.....it was nice to meet you guys. The "skidless " on our first green my wife got a little nervous. That was the rockiest green in the park with a couple biggin's in the mix. We did the right thing and avoided that blue / black the others took. I'll have;) skids next year, among other things. Good times.

Yeah. That trial was pretty rad. I stayed in the backso I didn't hold anyone up and I could take my time. And I've wanted to shorten my exhaust for a while anyway. haha

Looks like a great trip! Question for you guys with the rock sliders on your DCLB's... which brand did you go with, and how do you like them? (Like the Timberland Mica in post #716, or the Black DCLB in #682?)

Mine are made by white knuckle off road. DOM steel tube with a square tube main rail, basically a hybrid. Very beefy and solid I use a high lift jack to lift one side of the truck off the ground on them and they don't bend at all. I painted myself with hammered black paint from Home Depot. Bolt or weld on, mine are welded. One of my best investments, love them.

Oh about $600, cheaper if you don't go with DOM but also weaker then too.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I don't have any welding equip, so leaning towards the bolt-ons. I'll have to do some research on these brands tonight. Have always wanted a set... after looking at all these set-ups, the credit card is practically jumping out of my pocket!

You might want to look around your local area for a shop . They could make you up a set a hell of a lot cheaper then the companies on here .

Got mine for $350 and had em welded on for $70. Been used as a pivot point on rocks and a high lift spot many times with hardly any flex

I just found a local welder on Craigslist, the guy welded them on at his house. I then also had him fabricate a traction bar for me. Just food for thought, you can find someone weld.
