    Yes he did, but times were different back then. He would have taken severe flack for it. Not to mention, he cheapened it by doing everything possible to milk all of the possible publicity out of it.

    Plus, he was the King. He was getting the cushiest of jobs and most certainly was not going to be put in harm's way. He knew that, everybody knew that.
