I don't know how many PC gamers are on here but I recently built a PC and wanted to get a RTX 3080. Apparently Nvidia cards are very hard to come by right now, me being a new guy I wasn't aware of this.

With that being said, do any of you more experienced in this area think I will be able to snag a RTX 3070 when they release in a couple weeks?

Sucks that the average Joe can't buy one. I kinda figured I wouldn't get one for at least a year so I got a XFX 5700xt for the mean time. It performs pretty well.

Don't settle, the 3070 is a good choice though, I have a 1070 and its still doing well.

3080 is more for high HZ monitor or some light 4k gaming.

Im going to my local Best Buy when the 3070 drops and seeing if they have them in person. I don't have high hopes but it doesn't hurt to try to get one.

Not sure of your location, but try Fry's electronics has always been a good source.

I would have to use their website, I don't think there's one near me, north central WV.

A 3070/3080 should do 4k just fine. They are even supposed to run 8k.

I run a 2070 Super and play in 4k every night.
