You sir have a badass truck and do some amazing exploring out in the Eastern Sierras. I used to live in Mammoth so all the pics of the hot springs and mountain trails are making me want to go back and check it out again.

Thank you! Yeah I try to get out of town as much as possible the Mammoth springs are sweet but I also like getting to some of the more remote ones and making an adventure out of it.

CB newb here, the magnetic mount is grounded through the mount right? I dont have to run a grounding cable? I want to run the same setup as you, all I need is the radio, antenna, and coax right? Also, do you have to still tune it? And how does that antenna do with overhanging trees?

Yep grounded through the mount, trees don't hurt it it just makes noise. It does still need to be tuned and all I have is the cb, the antenna and the coax are all one unit.

Really like the air tank mount. Wonder if Eric still has the file and can reproduce your mount?

You can call and ask him, we made mine late night and in a little hurry so it involved a little grinding/cutting to perfect the fit. A little more time and I think he could make a easier mounting plate. But this does the job.

Was driving back to Elko from Reno today and saw this little spring off the side of I-80, not a hot spring but it thought the lighting was good for a couple pictures.

Not much of an update but I threw together a little everyday tool kit for my truck today instead of having a tool box bouncing around in the back, and the fabric keeps the rattling to a minimum. Also replaced my front brake pads and had the rotors resurfaced, they definitely needed it. Starting to scheme up a design for a bed rack. Hopefully I'll get started on that sometime soon.
