If you're in a hurry that's not terrible, but if you can be patient I can show you how to set up alerts for gun deals on reddit. There are a few post from the past month at around $480 before tax and transfer. Sportsmans had them for 490 a month ago FWIW

I had them laser etch my SBR for my form 1 as well. They did great work (while I waited) at a very reasonable price. I second this recommendation.

Don't use the website or the mobile app from reddit. If you're on apple stuff, I highly recommend Apollo which is free. Subscribe to r/gundeals and r/gunaccessoriesforsale and maybe /tacticalgear and /instock for armor and ammo respectively. if you're going to use the website, replace the `www` in the address with `old`. for example you would do https://old.reddit.com/r/gundeals and that converts the click heavy shit show reddit has become into a useable website from 2008. You can play with the reddit enhancement suite too which helps quite a bit, but I set mine up a few years ago and basically forgotten how any of it works.

 

Over on the android side, I recommend https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=free.reddit.news&hl=en_US&gl=US (ads are blocked by your adblocker if you have one) free or pay.

 

Got a quote including prep and stippling of a G19x and Sig P365 XL: ~ $635 for both.

Is that reasonable? I've never had any of this type of work done, so I'm not sure if it's a decent deal or not.

that's seems outrageously expensive to take a soldering gun to some plastic. I've never paid to have a gun ruined, er.... stippled, before, and I sure wouldn't pay that much for it. Talon Grips are cheap, not permanent, and quite effective.

 

That seams really really high. I think more like 80-100 a gun is more appropriate, but I haven't shopped around for that much.
