Does anybody have a spare old school ammo can I can buy? Just got a shit load of 12 gauge and I like being tacticool. Also looking for a smaller locking cabinet gun safe dealio. I think it's called a stack on or something

The most overturned circuit court for a reason, full of clowns. Hopefully the supreme court starts taking some gun cases and rules in our favor.

 

Honest question, not trying to stir up shit but what the hell do you do with a 12ga like that other than keep it under the bed for a bump in the night? Competing in 3 gun? We had a buddy in college buy a saga (the AK shotgun) and it was really fun to shoot pumpkins with but not much else. We tried to shoot clays with it one time for kicks and giggles but it was hopeless.

Don’t get me wrong I love my tacticool guns and own plenty but that’s 870 wingmaster money and you can have a blast shooting clays all day with one of those and then throw a 16" barrel on for home defense. I though Kel Tecs were supposed to be cheap!?!?!?!

Kinda seems like one of those guns that are fun to have a buddy own one. You get to shoot it every now and then but don't have your money into it when the novelty wears off. (but maybe I'm missing something and am wrong)

 

I mean I went into it with a why the hell not mentality, and after trying to find one and wanting one for 6 months, I bought it the second I found it. Granted, ya its was way the hell over msrp unfortunately. It's like 560 msrp and I paid 799.99 for it. Havent tried shooting clays with it yet but I probably will, as for home defense, eh. I have other things for that. I just wanted it, and if I loose interest in it in a few years and sell it for a few hundred dollars less, oh well.

I will say, seeing all of the other things I could have bought for the price of this almost swayed my decision, but I kinda figured 12 gauge ammo is relatively cheap so if I wanted something to go bring out on one of my adventures with to shoot, I could do it sorta cheaply. For example, I bought 250 rounds of bird shot for 70 bucks recently. Which compared to the 9mm I need to buy is stupid cheap.

 

Fair enough, because I wanted it is plenty of validation in my eyes. Half the point of shooting is that it's fun. If I only bought guns I needed I'd only have a 12ga, 1 rifle, and 1 pistol but what's the fun of that?

With that said Shotgun is probably my favorite kind of shooting and the fact that it's cheap is just the icing on the cake. Hard to go wrong with a box of 100 shells and a box of 100 clays from walmart for $40 to get an afternoon of shooting/entertainment.

 

Exactly! I figured I can just shoot the shotgun until (if it happens) ammo comes down in price a bit. My other two guns are both 9mm, so a little bit more expensive to shoot. Unless you go wait in line at a gun/outdoor store to snag ammo. My friend got 1500 rounds of 9mm for 270 bucks last month at cabelas

 

First batch of wet tumbled brass. These came from a shooting pit and were pretty gross. Very happy with the results. Lots more to process.

 

If you start reloading 9, let me know and I'll collect casings for you.

 

3gun and bump in the night. I rock the KSG though, for that purpose. Wife backs me up with her PS90. Assuming we get to the rifle safe and aren't just using the pistol safe guns.
