    The Japanese 'Winchester' 357 lever is a thing of beauty, museum display quality. The American walnut is stunnning, the picture does not do it justice. The metalwork is perfect with the butt-plate fit being done amazingly well. The only flaw is with the color-case hardening at the takedown joint as there was some final machining heat damage that took away the finish. It is visible in the picture No big deal. It shoots perfect out to 100 yards or so. It is actually quite tiny pictured here with a GI 1911. These are the only two firearms I shoot (and reload for) these days out on the BLM other than 20g upland

    Love the setup! I finally got a matching set for myself. The S&W was handed down from my grandpa and then I got lucky and found the Marlin used in great condition at a local shop - both in .357.

    I do not so that's the plan. Its the main reason I wanted them in the same caliber. I stocked up on .357 and bought a few reloading books so just need to commit and buy the equipment and rest of the supplies.

    There are some... you just have to do some digging and be willing to pay through the nose for them. I have been trying to hold out but I am close to breaking down and paying $250 for a shipment of 2k No. 41 primers :bananadead:

    Was able to pick up my Christmas/bday present to myself just before closing time on the 23rd. Might have to do another glamour shot of it in the snow too. Been hunting for one of these 1301s from Langdon Tactical for about a year and the stars finally aligned at the beginning of December. Hopefully I can get out soon and go apeshit to see how fast this BLINK system is.
