factory MOS?

where are you getting it stippled at?

 

Ya factory MOS, savage coating is doing it. I went through securite to do it, Wes from savage coating said it wouldn't have taken as long if I took the gun home and brought it directly to him

 

Wes is the man, he did my 1911.

 

That looks sick! I've heard a lot of good things about him. I was going to have the slide cerakoted but I just want it back now. Getting anxious but I should have it back next Wednesday. I have my Holster already and the first round of mods ready to go.

 

Now to find a machine shop



This might be a huge waste of time, spent years with my poly 80 and got 100% comfortable with the grip angle and size. Ran 200 rounds through this thing on Sunday and I’m struggling making it work. It’s a combination of having big hands and the grip angle

 

Very VERY stoked to pick this up today. Time to make it mine. Looks like Savage Coating did a kick ass job.

 

Did you have to trim your Talon to fit? Mine just came in today and i had to remove about 3/16”

 

Nope, mine fit my old 43x perfectly. Although now that I have a stippled frame, the talon grip feels like shit lol

 

Annnnnnnd, done. Hopefully I did everything right. I'll probably goto the range on Sunday if anybody wants to meet up.

Actually shoot it? I never find time to go shooting but now I actually need to break this gun in a bit.

Also, big shout out to Raincity tactical. My new Holster is world's better than my we the people Holster. Yes, it has pink, again, fuck you.

S15 mags are the shit. Definitely require a break in period though. The spring is much stiffer than a stock mag for obvious reasons so the first couple mags the slide will like to stay cocked back.

Any recommendations for a range to take my son (turning 15 years old) and a friend for his birthday? He wants to go shooting. My son is familiar with firearms and safety from scouts and family shooting excursions, but it sounds like the friend has never shot a gun before. We normally go high up off FS70, but there is probably still to much snow. I was thinking of Renton fish and game, but looking for any recommendations. We're near the Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Covington area.
