Botach has OEM Glock mags for pretty good prices ($23 for G19) so I ordered a few. And some 33 round ones. And some Lancer translucent mags.

Also bought a couple Aero Precision/SAF laser etched PMAGs that should be here today.

I wanted to grab a gen 5 G19 FS MOS but I may have waited too long at this point.

I ordered a few PSA banana clips as well - they are beautiful.

New pistola for the wife

 

Put a dot on the wife's PPQ(M1) .. almost thinking of migrating to 9mm so we can get stuff like the PDP with a slide pre-milled from the factory.

 

i went and shot it yesterday and it was the first time ive shot with a red dot on a pistol and man, it was so much easier/better. I like the p365xl. so much nicer to shoot then my XDS .45. shot that after the Sig and i almost just threw it in the trash and it wasnt even fun anymore.

 

Yeah most of our gear is in 40 though (blame the agencies that went 40 heh)

 

I am a fan of .45 acp. just not in a small ass gun. my 1911 is a blast to shoot. the xds, not so much. need to decide if i want to get my self a p365xl or something else in 9mm for CC

 

Anybody have any experience with Faxon Firearms? I get a pretty solid first responder discount on top of this...

I've never owned an AR before, nor do I care heavily about Tacticool bro stuff. Just something fun to shoot.

 

I have two of their 18” barrels, 5.56mm and .223 Wylde. I haven’t shot them yet but a friend who has a 16” reported great accuracy. The fit and finish appeared very nice. One of my coworkers bought a Faxon bolt carrier group that was defective. We tried everything with two AR rifles, swapping buffers, springs, ammo, magazines, and finally bolts and determined the cause of the malfunctions was the Faxon bolt. He contacted Faxon and they sent a new BCG immediately, only requesting he send the bad BCG back. The new one worked flawlessly. Faxon does have great customers service.

I believe they are a honest business that stands behind their products. I don’t have experience with their complete firearms so I hope this helps.

 

Absolutely, anything helps. I really wanted an AK, but prices of the old import ones have gotten too high. All I have currently is 9mm and 12 gage. It'll be a down the road purchase forsure. I don't go shooting much

 

No experience with their complete builds but I am very happy with my Faxon barrel. Great bang for your buck. I will probably get another whenever I finally get around to building up a 300 blackout.
