I just got another J-Arm and it's worse than the one I already had. Won't click into the Rhino II at all... Very frustrated.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I've got the guide gun version, very similar to the top picture. Apsuloutly love it. There are only two problems. It's at least $1.00 with bulk prices every time you pull the trigger and it will relocate your shoulder to your back if you're not careful.

Love my marlin 45-70 Gov. Loaded with 350 hornady interlock over a healthy dose of 4198 knocks the elk down. 5 bulls in the last 6 years with it.
    20190806_213010.jpg

With that said, as good as the 45-70 is on elk, the one problem i have is over all weight of the gun. The rifle is heavy! That's why I'm putting together a 458 socom.
Done a little more work on it. Still a few things still to do.

My elk gun has been an 11” SBR 458SOCOM. Super light, super maneuverable, doesn’t get caught on brush, etc.

The problem with that particular hunt was the weather. Walking around in just a t-shirt and still being hot is not conducive for elk hunting. WDFW hates hunters, I swear, which is why the seasons are so fucked up.....

I like it a lot! Well worth the money for me. I got a custom turret cap on it so it makes it a lot easier

You wouldn’t happen to have any bolt action 6.5cm laying around would you?

I ordered a bunch from black butterfly ammo to get myself started before I start reloading for it.

Nope, sorry. I can check suppliers if you send me what you are looking for (budget, brand, model, or whatever).

It's been a longtime since I've gone up in the mountains to shoot. I was thinking about doing some trap shooting this weekend up off of 90 somewhere. Anyone know of any good spots? As far as I know, you only can't shoot near a residence, or in a "no shooting" zone.
