I plan to get mine in Grant County. I thought I read that it's up to the sheriff in each county to issue non-res permits. So I called Grant County Sheriff to make sure.

Oregon is a Shall Issue State and issues Concealed Handgun Licenses to residents of Oregon and non-residents in bordering states. Some Sheriffs do not issues Non-Resident permits. You can find a list of Oregon Sheriff’s contact information here.

Im guessing the east side sheriffs a little more liberal with the "shall issue" portion of that?

That's what I was wondering which is why I called to make sure. They said to bring a certificate of some type of training like Hunter's Ed. Wonder if that online class certificate for the I-1639 thing would work as well.

if i remember right the Grant Co guys used to come up to the gun shows here to issue licenses. Remember they came to one of the gun shows at the Tacoma Dome and the line to get to them was huge.

Its the being smart lol. Paid a few LEO's to come up and do the work. Sign up hundreds of people at whatever it is per person (lets say 25 bucks a pop) and its easy money for them :)

WA residents can also go to Clackamas Counties website and apply there. Clackamas County is pretty quick on their decisions. I applied and got my resident in 4 days.

Good thing about keltec stuff, it's mostly cheap.

And mine's had a couple thousand rounds through it so far. No complaints.

Ran 200 rounds through my poly 80 today. It’s a dedicated carry gun now, i do need to push the sights over a bit.

And my 300 BO is dialed in with the new barrel set up. Only issue is right when i was almost done sighting it in i ran outta ammo :annoyed:

I'm getting ready to put together another ar15 lower. If you wanted to build an ar and you could get any lower for free, what would you pick?
    I'm looking at a seekins precision nx-15.

Speaking of Aero precision. Has anyone bought an AR since that new BS law went into effect? I’m thinking about building a 6.5 CM AR
