So, if what I’ve gathered from the CL posts is true, if I’m thinking about selling any of my pew-pews I should do it before the end of the month? The electronic portion of my gun safe became inoperable three years ago when we moved into this house. Which means I haven’t shot anything in three years. Which also means I need to cut a safe open and make some decisions if these new legal constraints are going to become a hassle.

You don’t have the key anymore? Electronic safes still have a manual keyd lock behind the electronic buttons in case you forget the code or don’t have a battery

American Security safes don’t, the cartridge inside shares circuitry with the keypad through a wired connection, if the cartridge goes out you’re hosed and AMSEC doesn’t have a solution for it

That’s possibly the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard.

Wow that’s crazy, never seen one like that. Sounds like you’re going to be a certified safe cracker after all this is over

Most safes are made with mild steel with hardened steel components inside, I’m just going to cut a square where the cartridge is located then drill it’s actuator out. American Security Safes seem like a good deal at Sportco/Outdoor Emporium but definitely not worth the aggravation

Stops honest people. You can crack most cheaper safes with a grinder.

I just got a 10.5” upper and want to make it my go-to truck/competition/camping rifle. Other than the obvious(optic, bullets, etc) what upgrades make the most difference?

Truck - anything that makes it a little smaller. Folding stock adapter, maybe? https://www.brownells.com/rifle-par...6-gen3-m-folding-stock-adapter-prod71553.aspx

Competition - some sort of sling that works with your shooting style. maybe a AFG/VFG. Maybe a muzzle comp. Trigger pack.

    camping - a beer opener. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1...bottle-opener-fixed-loop-ar-15-aluminum-matte

Also, don't forget your tax stamp and/or make sure it doesn't qualify as an AOW. Avoiding prison for an illegal configuration is a good thing.

Carry pistol is equipped with a TAC Overwatch trigger. SBR is a Sionics complete, and has a Geissele SSA-E.

Some jerk smashed into my truck, but this was waiting for me when I got home, so that was pretty cool

this is what has become of my newest handgun. Everything on the belt is going to get moved over to a Ronin 2" belt. Although it all works pretty well on a much more affordable 1.5" belt from Amazon.

dang. some nice pew pews in here. Lost PNW and I shot on a run a few weeks ago.

    I have the following currently:
-Sig P365 (new last week, March '19 build date so none of the issues from prior gens) new daily driver. Got rid of my old CCW, a Sig p290RS which is a piece of shit that no one should own let alone carry.
-S&W Mountain Gun. Limited production 30 years old pared down N frame .44 mag.
    -Sig P329 in .40 cal
    -Daniel Defense 300 BLK Pistol
-Mossberg The Shocker(wave). Seriously though, this is a great home defense firearm. Not the most fun to shoot, but very very efficient and effective.

I'm a big upland bird hunter in the fall so I have some over unders and autoloaders in 12 and 20 ga. In that vein, I plan to organize a two day grouse hunt this year (fall). On the east side, up in Clark Co., they live in the same terrain we go offroading on, so it's pretty perfect.
