uh nooooo. are you thinking of switchbaldes/ ballisongs? There is some weird long about concealing fixed blades over a certain length, 2.5 in or something, which would be hard to do anyway. You can carry as large of a knife on your belt as you like.

I would actually join Blade Forum and watch the classifieds. Great deals to be had on ESEE and everything else. Mostly unused. Good luck and say goodbye to your checking account.

hahahah. I hear you there. ESEEs are great, but I don't carry them in town/ EDC except the small CR inside my pocket. They are pure function, no form. Check out White River knives. very functional, but a bit easier on the eyes and more cost effective. The big name knife makers of course make fixed blades as well, like Spyderco, Emerson, Benchmade, etc., but you'll pay a ton for the name. Take a few mins. to read about knife steels. Don't go balls deep, just review the best ones so you don't get taken for a ride. Here is a decent overview that I reference often https://knifeinformer.com/discovering-the-best-knife-steel/...BladeHQ is a good retail site to check out.

I love the knife and the handle. It has become my only knife even during hunting season. I've gutted 2 bull elk, 1 cow elk, and 1 deer with it in the two years I've owned it. When the handle gets wet and bloody, it does not slip or feel slimy. Hold a edge good enough I can gut and de bone a elk. After that it needs a sharpening. Would recommend it to anyone who likes knives.

Just a conversation piece here. I did a contract for a Japanese shipping company and they gave me this. Didn't look them up online until now so didn't know what they go for.

Its awesome to see Brownells really working hard to bring back the sort of iconic, early AR stuff. It is a bummer someone of it has to even be reproduced due to timing of its original release and stuff though.

Yeah it seems like most things in my wish list have to be reproductions. Also it wasn't until recently that I realized Brownells is more than just an online store like Midwayusa. I'm about to get a few of their glock slides and that upper lol

So I bought this OLight PL Pro not realizing that my H&K USP doesn't have a rail the goes all the way out to the muzzle. Needless to say it doesn't fit. Any Glock users want it? It comes with a USB charger and a USB adaptor to use with an AR. I'm thinking $50.00, it's listed for $129.95 on their website. Downtown Seattle.

Yup Brownells has been doing a lot to branch out. And doing it smartly. Not just offering yet another AR type thing. And doing it right unlike other brands. When they first started with the retro stuff i remember they came in right around 1k....Troy made a similar offering and wanted closer to 2k. Then comparing them the brownells was way closer to original.

Im not sure how much of their stuff they actually do in house though. I know the (at least early) retro stuff they were doing still had Nodak Spud markings on them.

Anyone using the Vortex Spitfire 3x prism scope on their AR-15s. Just suited this up the other day and bore sighted. Wanting to range sight it in next weekend. Curious if anyone here has been using it.

Also thinking I should move the scope up. I just wanted 3” eye relief on the shortest stock. I am not really liking it in this position although it is close to a half way mark when stock is fully extended.
