Really? I only own PSA AR stuff and am happy. I've shot BCM, DD and Noveske and cant really tell a difference. But then again, I buy (old) craftsman tools and not snapon.

Lol- I have an Aero upper and a PSA lower. Not sure what that says about me. I own a mix of Snap On and craftsmen tools. So I guess that works.

I mean I totally get having gucci guns, but I dont shoot for a living or competitively and dont need to spend $3k on an AR. If I start doing 3 gun I would definitely only buy the best but for now all my shit goes bang when i need or want it to.

For sure! Plus as long as the gun goes bang and accurately, spending the money on ammo and shooting is was more fun.

I guess it's all up to the users needs. I would compare it to the mods we do with our trucks. A Tuff Country lift kit will produce similar looking results as Fox suspension but they're obviously not the same. It's ultimately down to quality, application and desire. If you want an AR just to shoot occasionally then PSA is fine. If you're a hardcore threeper prepping for the electric boogaloo then you'd probably want something more durable with better quality control lol

No problems with my PSA 300blk upper or nickel boron bcg, but the lower parts kit wasn't the best. I had to do a fair bit of polishing on the safety selector to get it to rotate...

Their barrels can be decent especially if you get a premium one. They use FNH surplus from what I've heard. I still have their NB bcg running strong too.

I do 3gun and I still don't get teh gucci. The only real 'good' component I have on is a eotech and a giselle control group, everything else is bottom tier milsepc stuff. That's a few more cases of practice ammo to git good with.

    Mil-spec = lowest bidder :bananadead:

Tbh I swapped out my PSA receivers because their rough edges felt gross on my delicate hands haha

Yeah I have no idea why people dig the word. It's 'thick enough to handle being built by the lowest bidder'.

It certainly makes things sound legit and is a decent starting point but having dealt with "milspec" parts for over 10 years I tend to avoid it just as a precaution. Basically anything we could open purchase from the civilian market we did as often as possible and for a fraction of the price lol

For you concealed carry guys or guys who like to EDC stuff. Tactical distributors makes some awesome jeans with a shit ton of pockets in the right places. Check them out if interested as i highly Recommend them. The legend, mcquade(my favorite) and stand your ground(don’t think they sell anymore) are all good setups depending on what you are doing. They fit well and stretch a bit in the right areas. They also make some Khakis and outdoor pants but so far best jeans i have Worn for concealed carry easily.
