Those douglas squirrels are territorial. They always chirp/yell at me when I'm in the yard. One made a home in my woodpile.

Actual native squirrels? Haven't seen one of those guys in a while. Feel free to use those damn gray ones for target practice all day though.

 

Anyone a gunsmith or know of a good local gunsmith? My 300 blackout barrel isn't necked down or cut down far enough for a suppressor muzzle device to properly mate up to the shoulder. The alignment washers end up riding in the radius and don't sit flush agsinst the shoulder.

I was thinking about getting a die and cutting the threads down the rest of the way, but I don't know if that will remove the radius enough for the washers to sit flush.

 

I can’t shoot anything that’s cute. Thinking about trying for turkeys or upland birds one day tho.

Love my 40 cal Beretta 9000S, but just picked up the 9mm FN509. Trying to decide on my daily. “Cheaper and available” is kind of an interesting topic right now so maybe I’ll just have to vacillate. What are y’all doing?

which 509? there are so many now. I have the full size tactical and have been carrying it. I tried an appendix carry holster but that threaded barrel digs in.

 

Yep full size tactical, no optic though as I haven’t run pistol optics yet but have been thinking I may do that too eventually. Good to know on the appendix carry that is what I wanted to do. What holster are you using now?

 

I think I have all ANR design holsters. Two IWB and two OWB that are Safariland QLS fork compatible for my gun belt. I have holsters made for light and no light.
Could probably put a non tactical barrel in it for appendix. It's still full sized though and I'm not experienced with appendix.

I picked up a Sig P365 and put an XL frame on it and I love it. I had a shield but it was too thin and was uncomfortable to shoot. The Sig was about twice as much money though.

As of 11, Sportsman's Warehouse in Roseburg had about a case worth of 115gr 9mm at $16/50, about a dozen 200rnd boxes of 124gr at $100/box, and a few hundred 500rd boxes of Aguila 22LR at $36/box.
Roseburg Bimart had about a case and a half worth of 5.56 green tips at $16/box (I think).
