To all my supercharged tacoma buddies in the PNW: Where did you install/ have installed your SC's and what was the price of it?

I got quotes from several dealers with the highest being 8k and the lowest being just a little over 5k.

Also, how much hr's did it take for your installs?

Old thread, but Toyota of Bellevue. I called around and they had the best price. They only use retired master mechanics with crazy experience to do the SC install, and that is all these retired guys do. They only install Mon/Tues. They want something crazy like 15hrs for the install, but I was able to knock it down and negotiate a lower hourly rate, which brought the price down significantly. I don't care about the hours, just the out the door install price.

That's where I got the best quote so far. Was wondering where everybody else might've gotten them done.

Buying and installing a SC, does that void the trucks warranty?

No. If the dealer does it the supercharger and components are covered under your powertrain warranty. If you install it on your own, it is covered for 1 year.

Edit: If you install it on your own, you will still need to take it to the dealer for the ECU re-flash.

Mine was purchased and installed at Bellevue. I was happy with the price and experienc. Don't forget the stupid 9.5% sales tax on it. That bumps the price by $500.

Just moved, so all of my paperwork is in a box somewhere in the new house. $5500-5700 or so after taxes.
