    Workin' on it....
I'd be up for that if I'm not working and it's not too hard core (ie Don't really want to get my truck scratched up which I'm still paying off)....no pinstripes for me....

I would be down since I live like 1 mile from the Airport. Not too sure about trails. Lots of logging roads to adventure up.

I've been seeing a white 2nd gen running around Bellingham lately with a bike pad on the tailgate, TW sticker on the back window and a color matched white front plate bumper. Sound familiar?

Hey everyone I'm new here and have many upgrade ideas for my Tacoma. I would also like to take it out on a few trails.

Hey guys, I'm getting stationed in Bellingham this summer. Any places you guys recommend looking for a place to live? Will be working in Fairhaven near the shipyards. Thanks!

Someplace with a garage preferrably but it seems like it's hard to find there without buying.

That's good to hear. Need a place to work on my truck and dirt bike. Would it be easier in Fairhaven or actual bellingham? Sorry for these stupid questions..

I think it really depends on whether the house has a garage or not, how you are with your work (not everybody appreciates a 2 stroke at 0300) and your neighbors. The last is the crapshoot that you won't have much control over. Your timing may be a little off in regards to the academic year at WWU as well. I think you'd have more options after the end of the school year. Your budget will also have a lot to do with it. Are you going to be on one of the 87's? Are you at Sand Island now?

One thing to keep in mind, Bellingham and Fairhaven really aren't that big. There's a little bit of traffic during the morning and evening rushes. It's nothing like the regular traffic on Nimitz or Ala Moana. And the drivers are much more predictable :)

Right on, thanks for the information. Yeah, I'm going to the sea lion, currently on the kittiwake. Are you stationed there as well?

Nah, I had a friend who was stationed in Fairhaven before he got out and moved over the mountains. The 87's are tied up right between the ferry terminal and a public boat ramp. I'm on the north end of Sand Island every couple of weeks when I'm at work. You've probably seen my ride coming into or out of Hono.

Ahhh yes... nothing like life down in the hole. One thing that always struck me as odd about the 87s is their exhaust routing. Are there dampers inside so you can seal them off if you're running on one main?
